چکیده

In this paper, a unique implant containing Gentamicin sulfate with biocompatible poly-lactide powders was developed by using such 3D printing (3D printing) process. The implantable drug delivery system prototypes, which were constructed matrix structure; double-layer structure and sandwich structure, manufactured different processing parameters. cross-sectional morphology of the characterized three dimensional video microscopic environmental scanning electron microscope. morphologies in vitro releasing experiments implants fabricated both technique conventional investigated to evaluate performance devices. At about 60-day release vitro, concentration measured profiles made. behavior microstructure subsequently compared between samples prepared technology technology. as-described work allows for design fabrication sophistically micro- macro-architecture, thus having unambiguous advantage over

Development and Application of Wood Flour-Filled Polylactic Acid Composite Filament for 3D Printing

This paper presents the development of wood flour (WF)-filled polylactic acid (PLA) composite filaments for a fused deposition modeling (FDM) process with the aim of application to 3D printing. The composite filament consists of wood flour (5 wt %) in a PLA matrix. The detailed formulation and characterization of the composite filament were investigated experimentally, including tensile propert...

Preparation and Properties of Novel Thermoplastic Vulcanizate Based on Bio-Based Polyester/Polylactic Acid, and Its Application in 3D Printing

Thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) combines the high elasticity of elastomers and excellent processability of thermoplastics. Novel bio-based TPV based on poly (lactide) (PLA) and poly (1,4-butanediol/2,3-butanediol/succinate/itaconic acid) (PBBSI) were prepared in this research. PBBSI copolyesters were synthesized by melting polycondensation, and the molecular weights, chemical structures and com...

3D Printing with Nucleic Acid Adhesives

By relying on specific DNA:DNA interactions as a "smart glue", we have assembled microparticles into a colloidal gel that can hold its shape. This gel can be extruded with a 3D printer to generate centimeter size objects. We show four aspects of this material: (1) The colloidal gel material holds its shape after extrusion. (2) The connectivity among the particles is controlled by the binding be...

Wave Printing (II) : Polymer MISFETs Using Microcontact Printing

The advent of printing for the manufacturing of transistors is a task vividly pursued both for silicon[1] and polymer-based devices [2-4]. Printed MISFET devices based on semiconducting polymer have already been realized with soft lithography [5], but they were either using an unstructured gate substrate or designed for low resolution alignments [2,4]. For printable electronics to become a real...
